What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a primary health care profession. It involves the diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of musculoskeletal problems (bones, joints and muscles) and the effects these can have on your nervous system and general health.
Chiropractic use a range of techniques to reduce pain, improve function and increase mobility.
These techniques include hands – on manipulation (safe, specific manipulation to free the joints that are not moving properly in the spine and other areas), soft tissue work (massage, trigger point therapy), acupuncture, postural advice, therapeutic exercise and life style advice.
